And this is how we (who keep all keys) make a profit. I have kept a couple #1’s and #2’s. Never thought to get one graded, but I hope the ones I have are high enough grade to send in.

In comics, supply does not seem to matter much to hype.

Five years ago it seemed there were a million copies of Nova 1, Ms Marvel 1, Black Panther 1. And skipping forward a decade and a half New Mutants 98.

The only difference in the supply/value equation is demand. Demand generated by movies and movie tie-ins.

Went through my $2 boxes. I have 3 sets 3-15 all NM range. And a couple 1’s and 2’s I had separately. 9.0 or better.
So I’m rich! Doog

And look, signed on the splash, that is very cool. And no defacing the cover!
I have a few older books signed on the splash, 6 or so verified by CBCS.

Hah.

I had a few high grade books at the Big Apple...nm- or better...early Eternals in my $3 boxes....which I had meant to pull out of my boxes beforehand because I have been trying to hoard any/all Eternals books I have because I thought Eternals would be used in a MCU movie in the near future, no #1's,at least I'm not that stupid 😂😂😂

...and IIRC, a #15 in NM 9.4/9.6...possibly a 9.8 if pressed...I think that sold for $15 out of my priced as marked boxes.

One more reason why setting up at most cons is a waste of time & money.😂😂😖😩

I have a couple Eternals #1 9.6’s (CBCS and CGC). Looks like the prices have more than doubled since last week on eBay.

I happened to pick up Eternals 1 a few months ago on a kick for dirt cheap, because I've always wanted it (Kirby!)... didn't think about the movie side of things, but glad I snagged it before the hype. I doubt it would grade high, but with a press, it might hit 9.0. I'd have to check it again. Regardless, just glad to have the Kirby history.
