| @dielinfinite The only one that had my attention was a very nice looking ASM 129; but he's asking full CBCS/CGC price for Oregon product, and I don't have enough warm fuzzy to go for it. The ASM 129 printing wasn't uniform across the top; and books from Oregon have been known to get a haircut on their way to "9+" grades. Just too much risk for that kind of money. | ||

| All of you conspiracy theorists....Do you guys think any of your posts through before you post??? CBCS is a business that wants to stay in business. Some of the most respected people in the industry work for this company...this is no half-assed, PGX operation! All these posts of CBCS doing shady things or intentionally trying to screw over customers....WHY WOULD THEY EVER WANT TO DO THAT! This whole TAT situation sucks for everyone, especially for the people at CBCS! They are losing customers and money that I am sure they don't want to be losing. They have said multiple times in multiple places that they are trying to do what they can to catch up. Everyone just needs to let them catch up and quit bogging down everything with the constant complaints that are all EXACTLY THE SAME! | ||

| Where I used to work, there was a guy that would gain pleasure from prodding folks and trying to initiate hostility because he thought it was fun. I left that job and I never have to deal with his immaturity and nonsensical logic again. The best solution I could come up with was to walk away, ignore him and leave him to enjoy living his own sad life. Anyways, just a life lesson learned... |

| @Bronte While underway, the sailors on our boat developed the "Law of Conservation of Happiness;" a riff on the laws of thermodynamics. The premise was, "happiness can neither be created nor destroyed, only altered in form." While tied to the pier, the boat was attached to "the world," which we considered to contain an infinite amount of happiness. While underway, there is a fixed quantity of happiness on board; so in order for any individual to increase their happiness, it would have to be taken from someone else. This was performed with ruthless efficiency; though it was freely acknowledged that the captain had the ability to reduce everyone else on board's happiness to zero & hoard it all to himself at his discretion. Sounds like you worked in a similar environment; I don't miss it either.  |

| @BabaLament You theory sounds like our raises. Our boss had 3 percentage points he could give to each of us per year. Essentially a finite number for happiness. (Yeah, barely cost of living). However, on more than one occasion, I tried to "donate" my share to those with whom I felt worked harder or deserved it more than I. My boss rejected my requests. But the moral of this story was that, sometimes the sailors doing all the rowing need more food than the cook in the galley... Btw did you ever read the thermodynamics of hell? |

| Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Dr. Schambaugh, of the University of Oklahoma School of Chemical Engineering, Final Exam question for May of 1997. Dr. Schambaugh is known for asking questions such as, "why do airplanes fly?" on his final exams. His one and only final exam question in May 1997 for his Momentum, Heat and Mass Transfer II class was: "Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Support your answer with proof." Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following: "First, We postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for souls entering hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, then you will go to hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant. If hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over. So which is it? If we accept the quote given to me by Theresa Manyan during Freshman year, "that it will be a cold night in hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have NOT succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then Option 2 cannot be true...Thus, hell is exothermic." The student, Tim Graham, got the only A. |

| @Guy There's not an exact amount of time it takes. It depends on how many books are in the order, obviously larger orders take more time to reach shipping once they get to Labels. They're shipped FedEx Ground. In most cases it takes roughly 2-3 days to arrive depending on your proximity to Dallas. |

| @Guy My best guess is that an order of 8 books should hit Shipping within a week of being in Labels. I can't say for sure, it could be a little sooner or later than that depending on what is in the queue before it. @oginecka Unfortunately I don't have a time frame on this. There's a lot of programming work being done on the system. |
