I hate foil covers. They get flaws more easily and they show them worse. I assume it's the same art, so it's not like it's anything special or new

I agee. Unless I can pick it out such that it's defect free I'm not spending $25-$30 for the same art.

So I'm passing on these. Rather put the $$$ towards an original TT12.

The mattina cover interests me more, as you can't get it in a trade dress or for less than $100 in a virgin.

Are these technically 3rd or 4th prints? I've always wondered how different dressings of covers that come out months, if not a year, after the first press copies are considered first printings...

Maybe when it's a store variant printings do not count?

Would make sense, except the DNM #2 Mattina cover was called a third printing...
