Gentlemen, What pricing guide do you prefer to use because I have a chance to acquire one of these asm #146 issues locally and seen prices on the www. from $8-300+ .. what a range! It’s a raw copy, looks like in 7.5-8 grade condition. Any info will be greatly appreciated! Ty.

I bought a meat grinder on amazon for $60 and it's changed my life. kaptainmyke private msg quote post Address this user
Don't pay more than $15 raw locally. Most raw bronze ASM are $15-$25 midgrade and $75-$150 for high grade copies. Except the key issues like 121-122,129, etc.

Many check the prices of SOLD books on eBay. Don't mistake that for ASKING prices- Big difference, sometimes.

These days, printed price guides don't help as much because books rise and fall so much due to speculation- Usually driven by films/television shows.

GPAnalysis is useful for checking current slab values. Only $9.99 per month.

Nostomania.com gives you raw prices as well as graded. I think I pay $2.50/month

Gocollect is great for graded books as well, a bit more pricey tho

I can't remember the name of the site that tracks sales on eBay.
Starts with a "W", I think. "Watch" something or other.

Just poked around eBay & saw a few examples and lots and surprisingly they aren’t as valuable as I thought they would be

I set up at conventions a couple times a year and have done shows and sold comics on eBay for over 20 years.

All ASM's, unless they are keys or super hot like Venom variants etc...generally have to be sold at about half of whatever Overstreet says they are worth.

On eBay, I'd put it up at $20 + shipping, if it's a solid 8.0.

It would probably take a couple months for someone to hit the BIN.

I prefer to put books like this in my $10 boxes at conventions.

Hell, I have a FN+ in my $5 boxes right now. Just bought a bronze-copper batch of spidey's and started putting them in Mylite2's yesterday.

To answer your question, don't pay more than $20. That is, if it's really a nice 8.0.

A good price is ten bucks. That's what I'd sell it for.

But if I gotta upload 2 scans and re-format a listing description on eBay, it's $20 + shipping.

This is why I like setting up at conventions, blowing out table stock like this sort of book is ideal.

If you're paying anywhere near those figures, you are paying too much.

A mid grade 20 center ASM is a $5 book, tops.

Here's a cherry 9.2/9.4 ASM #158 with a black cover background, I recently got $20 for on eBay.

It took about half a year to sell.
