@Comicnewbie - Not to add more confusion, but have you heard of the difference between Newsstand Editions and Direct Editions? For example, the Wolverine Limited Series (1-4) came out in both editions. Some collectors think that Newsstand Editions in general will be worth more in the long run as they are more difficult to find in higher grades. Do a search on ebay for the Wolverines, and compare how many 9.8's are direct versus newsstand. The newsstands will have a bar code in the lower left hand corner of the cover, the direct editions will have Spidey's head.

To give you an idea as to what to pay: Wolverine 1 has a 6 month average of $244 & Omega Men 3 is at $167.

I'd say Omega Men has more room to grow, but that Wolverine cover is so iconic. It's a matter of personal preference. Which do you like?

Did you buy your She Hulk 1 for 170.00 with shipping included, or is shipping an extra tack on amount.

@Comicnewbie - I have a few newsstand Wolverines at CBCS right now. I doubt any will come back 9.8. I will probably sell some of my extra copies.

@KingNampa Are you cracking wise? $1-$3. I admit I know very little but I come to these threads to learn and understand. If that’s a typo then I apologize.

@KingNampa I haven't been around the forum all that long, but X-Force #1 seems to be a recurring gag.

Did you buy multiples of that book back in the day?

yes you could potentially make $3 profit on xforce 1 depending on how the movie goes. XFORCE IS always a bulk transaction. Need to buy at least 200 issues to do well. Make sure it is still sealed in plastic that way 9.8 for sure.

Not trying to start anything here, but I don't think "for sure" is very realistic. I think the only thing the bag did was keep dust and fingerprints off. Any other protection depended on how the owner treated the book.
I think the bag also makes it difficult to see spine tics, but I cant remember- I removed mine from the bags to protect the paper.

For some reason.
