Collector 00slim private msg quote post Address this user
So, to help cover the cost of my 7.0 purchase, I'm selling my CGC 4.0 & .3 Reader copy.

Feel free to PM any offers.

I can definitely give a better deal directly through PayPal.

Im aware of the average. I'm just figuring for e-bay fees + at least $50 for the coverless copy & room to negotiate.

Yeah, the 6 month average is a little higher. That plus the coverless copy, I'd put a fair price at $400 shipped.

eBay fees?

What?

Eh, ya do know that all of the other sales for this book in GPA involved eBay or auction house fees, as well.

Forget that.

That said, the book has been trending upwards consistently ,since as long as I can remember and GPA reflects that arc.

I'd put it at a $425-450 + shipping BIN, no best offer shite. You'll get your price.

But you are shooting yourself in the foot with your current approach.

A coverless copy is a solid $90 BIN + shipping sale, sold by itself.

Printing out a color copy of the front cover will get you $100 + shipping; that is a solid play.

Lumping a slabbed 4.0 with a coverless copy means you lose out on the guy who just wants a coverless/original "affordable" copy for a $100, and you lose out on the buyers who want to pay around 400 for a slabbed 4.0.

You'll likely have to take 400 to move that listing.

You can get 400 as it is, may as well make up 2 listings and get 2 sales.

Just look at the feedback your approach has gotten on here.

When I see stuff for sale when you have to buy one book, to get this other book. Huge turn off for me as a buyer.

I also think that $425-$450 is a realistic price for this book.

Didn't look at the auction or know what book this is about, but don't pair up 2 books if you're trying to get fmv for both. Only if you're desperate to move one asap and offer the second as a freebie.

My thought was to make mine stand out. For little over the cost of of one, you got both.
