This series looks pretty intense.

Probably the best use of a Metallica song I've seen in a trailer.

Looks intense. Bernthal is no Lundgren, but this looks cool.

I still need to watch the Defenders but I told myself that I need to finish Iron Fist first which I am struggling to get through. The acting is just terrible.

Literally one his worst movies ever. Even Lou Gossett Jr couldn't save that flick. But to each their own

I haven't watched Defenders yet because I'm trying to finish up Jessica Jones.

@Wolverine It was terrible. Everything about it. It wasn't even bad movie funny like Death Wish 3.

As a huge Punisher fan for many years My idea vision of the Punisher is Mike Zeck's rendering.

The overused random violent scenes is cool and all, but it really has grown old due to the lack of any real story and character development.

I would like to see the Punisher as more of a "Batman" like vigilante.

Ive always wanted to see the Punisher use his skills, tactics and equipment in taking on more "super villians", rather than the same old tired streethood storylines that have been used to the point of boredom.

A more strategic game plan with Microchip, the Battle Van and Original Punisher suits designed in similar fashion as the "Batsuit" and using his Brains and Equipment to face off with Villians like maybe Doctor Octopus or maybe the "Rhino"..... Kraven the Hunter would be COOL!

@00slim I'm really looking forward to it but for some damn reason, Bernthal in his full Punisher outfit, with the skull and everything, looks really weird to me for some reason.

I think he is a poor choice. Just too scrawny. The Punisher should be a "Rambo ish" looming figure.

Best non-Punisher cover on a Punisher book? PWJ #6.

It is the Marvel Universe! Everyone knows Micro Chip developed it with special "Shrink Technology" so it would fit in his secret boot compartment

See, I don't know if you are making a joke, or telling me like it is.

I'm going to have to start reading comics again. I guess.

@BigRedOne1944 I disagree. I think Bernthal makes a great Punisher. My issue is with the costuming.

I think the vest seems to blend in too much with his shirt so it just looks like he's wearing a puffy shirt. Combined with the giant skull, it seems to make his torso and head look too big compared to the rest of him

While not much of a costume, the jacket he wore in Daredevil gave him a much better silhouette

The Thomas Jane costume didn't include the vest for the most part, so his shirt looked like a shirt. In the final scene when he's wearing the vest, it's clearly a vest.

When Stevenson played it, he was obviously armed and armored to the teeth, no puffy t-shirt there

Mike Zeck's Mini Series Punisher rendering is without question the Best ever for me.

Can't say #10 Regular (with daredevil) makes on to any of my favorite Punisher list's

I much Prefer Mark Texeria work on the Regular Series.

Jim Lee's Punisher War Journal work is the Only thing that can remotely approach Mike Zecks Mini series.

Seriously? Is that Moe Howard from the stooges? Like I said, WAY to scrawny to be the imposing figure I envision the Punisher to be.

Zeck's version is probably my favorite, I also like Miller's version a lot.

I like Jim Lee's art, but he made the Punisher way too handsome IMHO.

Bernthal should have at least been kept on board through out season 3 of TWD. He would have kicked the Governor's ass!

I didn't hate Iron Fist but it is by far the least of Netflix's Marvel adaptations. The Defenders make far better use of Iron Fist and we learn more about him and the Hand. You actually won't miss out on too much (which is the real problem with Iron Fist - nothing much happens) if you just skip over it and go to the Defenders.

So that trailer was pretty bada$$
Studio has teased that the show will be released hard and fast, meaning it'll show up in your queue unannounced.

So when? Courtesy of leak we may know now. See below.

Not enough guns or violence. Needs more deaths.

Seriously just who is this drivel aimed at? No discerning adult I know would go within a million miles of this appalling garbage.

And I certainly would not let any kids watch this.

None of the Marvel Netflix shows are intended for kids.

Daredevil
Jessica Jones
Iron Fist
Luke Cage
Defenders

Are all "MA" rated, I believe.

I do wish they offered original comic book programs with a lighter tone, just to balance it out.

Not all the shows need to be dark. The Punisher deserves that tone, though.

@00slim Cloak & Dagger, the Runaways and The New Warriors are coming. Cloak & Dagger looks like a high school drama and we've yet to see how they're gonna approach Runaways or New Warriors but I think it's safe to say that they won't be MA. Cloak & Dagger may not be especially light-hearted and Runaways has that capacity but I can't imagine a show with Squirrel Girl in the cast to be anything but fun.
