First thing I want to mention is that I am in no hurry to receive payment. Get to it when you can, after I send an invoice via PM thru here. If you can't pay me for a month. I don't care. I have plenty of food in the house.  Some of y'all will be in a hurry to get your books. And I will make that happen as fast as I can, given my natural laziness.I am working on straightening all of this out. Changes in who gets what (some trading of rights in the middle of the sale thread), two price changes (I'm proud of how no one quick drawed on the Barbie for $1K), a dispute about who was on first (for the Green Hornet #2), and my lack of computer skills (had to sell some books without scans). All in all, things went fine. There is ALWAYS a glitch when dealing with a sale of this size, in this "flash sale" fashion. Please do not pay until I invoice you via PM here. I will not be invoicing via PayPal. That gets too complicated if I make a mistake or you disagree with my records. The PM system here works fine (unlike some things here). I had a lot of problems uploading pics during the sale, and whenever a page got full and transitioned to another page. If I posted at the moment, it would not post and just froze. So I would have to copy and paste on a different (the new) page. And when I would type info for the next book while someone was posting a comment. What I typed would be all garbled on the screen, and the picture would not post. Not that anyone else has or ever would hold a sale like this. I would recommend against a "flash" sale. I am going to take my time and make sure this is right before I ship the books. Many books I have duplicates of and can fix my mistakes. But many I do not have duplicates of. Those I have to get right the first time. I know it should be easy to just put the books in a pile with a note saying "Books for drchaos", or whomever. But on a sale this HUGE. There are always mistakes, and I am only human. We will get through this together. (as I gently hold you in my arms and press my cheek to your hair). Not that there's anything wrong with that, right? (always leave them smiling) |
