| It felt like the most uneven storytelling I can remember from Snyder and I was just waiting for a GREAT Capullo page and it didn't come...too many Justice leaguers for him maybe? Last page was cool I guess... I will keep buying, it feels like a fun premise, just hope it isn't taken too seriously... |

| The problem is the scope of the book is beyond his skill level. He isn't the writer and isn't old enough to create what seems D.C. wants to use as a springboard to expand its universe. Really, writing good stories is key. It doesn't require a larger setting or more characters. This is almost as rough as Secret Wars II. |

| Missed the Forge but just got through Casting - was acceptable - onto Metal #1 Haven't bought a variant cover on purpose in 10-15 years....but I like shiny things so I got one of those covers too! |

| FOr me....there was only two reasons I purchased the Del Otto cover issue.....because I love his artwork.....in fact, I think he may be one of the best illustrators there are in modern times. And of course...I'm a Batman fan. :o) I did not read the previous two books, so I'm probably jumping in on the middle of a story. Oh well.....the cover is worth framing, IMO. |

| This is another Converse or whatever that thing was last summer, Secret Wars, it is an event to expand the setting. In some ways, I am starting to like it. Blackhawk Island introduces a SHIELD like element so non meta humans are involved. The ridiculous part was Wonder Woman calling for attack formations. When was the last time you saw the JLA do a Danger Room type practice scenario. |
