I bought a meat grinder on amazon for $60 and it's changed my life. kaptainmyke private msg quote post Address this user
oh man this is huge news. Almost everything Millar writes becomes a hollywood movie. I been waiting for SUPERIOR to hit the big screen, maybe now on netflix...

I really loved Huck and Starlight. Probably doesn't move the needle much on those particular books though.

Very cool news.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
Millar is an awesome writer but wow is his stuff dark.

Read Nemesis for a good example of how he screws over the good guys.

Old Man Logan and Kick Ass 2 also have some really bad mojo.

Do I need to run to ebay and put everything I have by him up for sale? For 100X the regular price now?

@DarthLego We already have Kingsman, Kick-Ass 1 & 2 and Wanted so they come off the list:

Old Man Logan
Hit Girl
Kick-Ass 3
Nemesis
Superior
Jupiter's Legacy
Reborn
Super Crooks

It is about content and expanding it. Netflix and cable companies are starting to partner to bring it to the cable TV platform. They have to expand what they put out to fill hours.

I hope that the standards remain high. Attempting to produce too much content usually lowers the bar and you end up with poor results.

Netflix should totally do a Hit Girl series with Chloe Moretz.

Authority.

Yes, it was an Ellis book, but Millar's run was the pinnacle of four years of greatness.

I never heard of these books until today. I was just checking out the info on them. Superior and Jupiter's Legacy look like they might be interesting reads. Any reviews from the forum?

Huck & Starlight are my favorites. Jupiter never really stuck with me for whatever reason. Delays, perhaps?

It looks like they are mini series and not full runs. Only 5 or 6 issues per title?

While he did write it Old Man Logan is not a part of the Millarworld. Only property's that he created or co-created. I admit that I think if done properly a Logan show would be great for netflix or HBO it won't happen with that character.

I read that Reborn is getting the greenlight though

Anything that hits Netflix will more then likely be Netflix original movies.

I am wondering now that Disney plans to set up so I can totally sidestep Netflix if you will take its TV shows with it. This may mean this is an opportunity for Netflix to create a new series on TV shows. Just me speculating. What do I know?

I just looked at the details for the recent movie Jupiter Ascending but it does not seem to have anything to do with Millar's work so Jupiter's Legacy is a possibility.
