So I recently commissioned an artist to paint the front cover of the Daredevil Authentix edition, which has art by Joe Quesada: For reference, here's how the original cover was painted  And I just got this from the artist!  I absolutely love the shift from a flatter daytime scene to a dramatic night-time scene where the city lights almost look like the city's on fire. The artist did work with watercolor so it looks like there was some warping; I'm hoping a press might help with that a little. The plan going forward is to get Joe Quesada, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Kevin Smith to sign it before getting the back cover painted, and finally a press and a slab. |

Thanks! I did it once before last year and I liked the result so much that I bought the whole line of Authentix covers to eventually do the same with.  |

@Grayspeedster Thanks! I love the Authentix covers since they print inked or penciled art by great artists on a paperstock more akin to a blank sketch cover than your run of the mill b&w cover so you have an opportunity to find other artists to finish the art and make something unique.    |
