He's not nearly that old. I guess you haven't watched in awhile. Mick Foley was General Manager of Raw for the last year until last week when he got "fired" by Stephanie McMahon.

Mankind was at Toronto comicon three weeks ago, looked almost exactly the same, with the exception of short hair.

Yeah I haven't watched for 15 years-ish? Kane and Undertaker were there the Rock, Stone Cold, Dark Chocolate Mark Henry, you know the classics.

Undertaker is still around, he was at wrestlemania this year, not sure if Kane is still active though.

The rock was definitely one of my favs in that era, The People's Champ!!

You didn't miss much this year, last year was much bigger.

Wrestlemania may have been Takers last match from the way he left his coat and hat in the ring at the end.

Kane is still active. He was part of the on screen management with "The Authority" wearing a suit and tie for quite awhile, then returned to in ring action and being "Demon Kane" during a funny story line where they had him appear as both "Corporate Kane" and masked "Demon Kane" and he'd act like he'd have no memory of attacking people as "Demon Kane." I think it's been a few months since he was last on TV.

I was at wrestlemania in Houston at the last known event (then, lol) in the Astrodome. A pretty redhead asked me "do you know where my booth is?" She took my hand and we held hands as I walked her to her own signing table! Lita!

I haven't watched wrestling in a few years. I keep up with it slightly since I have friends who are still big fans. I do know Roman gets booed a lot, kinda like Cena was always booed. I wish Undertaker would've jobbed to someone else for a retirement match, but whatever. He's been a company guy and a locker room leader for decades. He can do what he wants. I would like to see them allow blading again but I don't think it will happen while Vince is alive. They should also allow the wrestlers more creative freedom instead of it being so scripted. The promos come off as bland and uninspired. Women's division is really taking off though from what I've seen and heard.

Yah, there has been a bit of a resurgence in recent years. AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, etc. Women's division is really excellent, as you said. NXT has been really fun w/Asuka, Shinsuke, Bobby Roode, Ty Dillinger, etc.

I was really surprised seeing AJ Styles and Bobby Roode there. I always feel like Vince is going to make jobbers out of the wrestlers he didn't turn into superstars. AJ has done well for himself while he's been there.

Seems to be getting better every year as HHH gets more influence over the product.

HHH has the mind for the business, once Vince lets the reigns go fully it should be awesome.

@Studley_Dudley what is blading?
Post 28 IP   flag post
Beaten by boat oars Studley_Dudley private msg quote post Address this user
@DarthLego
Blading is the act of a wrestler cutting their forehead with a small razor to get the blood flowing during a match.

COLLECTOR DarthLego private msg quote post Address this user
@Studley_Dudley they still do that, just not as often.
