All the books were inexpensive. Especially this one, which is a German edition that includes a reprint of Detective 27. Check out the BACK cover.

I think it should have gotten a 0.5 because it is only missing the front cover (back cover is intact).

Had to bring this thread back from the dead! Love to walk in a LCS and see one of these sitting on the shelf just waiting for me to take it home.

I paid $450 and I'm fine with that XD. The colors are great and it's still glossy, inside it's amazing and really the remainder of my tax returns paid for it. I would bet it's in the F/VF range (I could be wrong.) but I think it could benefit from a press if I ever have the urge. Really happy to have found such a nice looking copy on the way home from work!

Found these hidden in a box at my LCS last week...look to be 9.6/possible 9.8s. May send Week 11 in for slabbing.

@Studley_Dudley Is that a 2nd or 3rd printing? I believe I have a 2nd printing...hoping to get it signed some day.

Just won this one from Comic Link:

About the Pedigree:
The John G. Fantucchio collection is a CGC recognized pedigree that includes nearly every comic published by Marvel and DC Comics from the inception of the Marvel era through the mid-70s. Rounding out the collection are many high-grade comic books from other publishers including Charlton, Gold Key, Dell, ACG, Tower, Warren and others. The books were collected by artist John G. Fantucchio and stored in ideal conditions. The result is a collection of beautifully preserved comic books with bright, bold colors and near newsstand-fresh page quality.

From what I understand, the 0.3 grade is actually reserved for "coverless, but otherwise complete." Which makes me wonder, what grade would they give to a coverless and incomplete?

It's a 3rd print. It'd be a good candidate for a signature.

Oy, I totally glossed over the existence of .1, even with the counting game going on.

Picked up off ebay this week...a very nice clean copy of Batman 357. Likely sending it in for a press and grade in the next few weeks.

I'll probably never get this one graded but it's one of my favorite covers so I grabbed it during a lcs sale. I 'm hoping with a clean and press I could hit a 7.5 or so raw.

I've always liked that cover. I just grabbed 2 copies. I'm thinking about sending one in for grading. I think one could wind up mid 9's. I've wondered if we will see her in a movie soon. wouldn't be too hard to do since the hulk is already so established.

the spawn 1 would be significantly worth more if it were a newsstand edition
