SO evidently, on this forum we consider the Golden Age to run from the '30s through the adoption of the Code. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but I'm curious whether anyone still uses Atom-Age to describe the period from the end of WWII through 1955-56. Is such a thing even necessary/useful?

@PhilMaurice I know I have seen it named Platinum Age, but I think that naming structure is a gray area... I think golden age 1930s to 1959 is close enough... I get that Silver age started in 1956... But a slight break of the rules is ok. Right?

Great cover!

Thanks! Must say that imo the light colored label really allows the book to shine fully, cause your eyes are drawn to the book first, not the label... unlike with the darker label used by some other company I know. A calculated decision I assume.

For those of you who haven't seen this before. I figure Alan Young at 95 years young signing my three file copies has to be worth another look. Have yet to see another one of these books signed by him.

Another kickin' Schomburg cover...

This is from 1941, but I think it's safe to assume that's not the Ladies' POWDER ROOM in the background.
