Freshly graded Palo Alto copy. The only graded copy as well. I bought this a while back raw for $27. Amazing what you find hiding in your shortboxes.

Yes he did, the auction for his books was a seminal moment in comic collecting history.

I believe this series from what little info i've gathered was only distributed to service men (military bases).
The first issue is 'common', these two not so much.

Great books from you too. Keep sharing!

These don't see the light of day much. #4 is definitely my favorite cover. I think I picked up the raw book from Metro.

A little out of the golden age but I met the nephew of a well known comic artist Jack Sparling and I got this 1960 political comic that was for segregation for Farris Bryant who was elected governor of florida.
Minty and rare beyond rare. Came from a file cabinet the newphew inherited.

ok - I am going to spam this thread a bit. I recently purchased two small collections of WDCS. I received the comics today. I just finished counting pages and check with my black light. Good thing is that all are complete and no CT.

1 collection is so so while the 2nd collection was a steal. The first collection is so so because there is one restored comic (#168) which has been trimmed and because the #32 which I thought was a high graded turned out to have its cover and 3 centerfolds detached bummer

the second collection was a still as they will grade higher than what I expected when I bought them - winner. Anyway - here comes the spam - apologise in advance
