| Welcome to the inaugural round of the UNOFFICIAL CBCS weekly cover contest. Here is how it will work: 1. A Theme will be chosen each week, participants must find a comic book cover that matches the theme. -- Only post one entry -- Must be from a real comic book in circulation 2. In 1 week we will vote on who had the best cover for the week. -- Friday begins the new contest -- Wednesday at 12noonEST is the cutoff and voting will begin and go through Thursday. 3. The winner will choose the next theme and begin a new thread. -- In the event of a tie, one factor will be if your photo was of a book in a CBCS slab. If so, you win the tie. -- Repost these rules in your new thread to keep them easy to find and for new folks who want to play. 4. Remember this is about fun! Be respectful and enjoy the weekly contests -- Try to pick a theme that we haven't already done So let's kick it off! Since this is the first of (hopefully) many to come, the theme I chose is: Birth, Genesis, Rebirth, and New Beginnings! So go find a comic book cover that matches these and feel free to use your imagination and creativity to make it work.  |
